Ornate • Hand-Embroidered • Moonlit
A knotted navy headband embroidered with cranes, blossom, and a full moon.

The Hinoki Journal

Some accessories tell a whole story, and this one is exactly that.

Across a deep navy ground, two cranes sweep past a full blue moon, their wings worked in red, gold and green thread and their tail feathers trailing the length of the band. Stylized clouds curl around them. Cherry blossom branches climb the sides in soft pink, each flower centered with a small crystal that catches the light as you move. A knot at the center front gives the band its shape, and a flash of magenta lining shows at the edge — the color contrast Namjosh is known for, hidden where only you see it.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

We love an accessory with real narrative in it, and this headband delivers exactly that. Embroidered cranes, crystal-set blossom, effortlessly ornate.

Details

  • Individually hand-embroidered and beaded
  • Deep navy ground with stylized cloud motifs and a full moon
  • Pair of cranes in red, gold and green thread
  • Cherry blossom branches with crystal centers
  • Contrast magenta lining
  • Knotted center front, wide silhouette

✦ Amy's Styling Tip

I wear this with plain black and nothing else — no earrings, no necklace. It is the whole occasion on its own.

Hinoki Care Suggestions

Dry clean only. Store flat to protect the embroidery and the crystal settings.

About the Brand

Namjosh designs from a global aesthetic vision, built on an innovative use of color set against beautiful artisanal embellishment. Pieces are crafted in India by skilled artisans and inspired by the brand's travels across the globe, with hand-beading and hand-worked embroidery running through the collection.

We were drawn to Namjosh because the handwork is impossible to miss — beads placed deliberately, stitches worked with intention. It's exactly the kind of modern, artisanal accessory we love bringing to our Foragers.
