Woven • Textured • Coastal Blue
A striped cotton headband in indigo, sky blue and cream.

The Hinoki Journal

Some accessories earn their place on texture alone, and this one is exactly that.

Stripes run the width of the band in deep indigo, periwinkle, pale sky and soft cream, with narrow accents of ochre and sage cutting between them. Between the stripes sit rows of small cream tufts, standing slightly off the surface so the whole band has a nubby, handwoven feel rather than a printed flatness. It is the least decorated piece in the collection and quietly one of the most wearable. A cream band sits inside, and a knot gathers it at the side.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

We love an accessory with real woven texture, and this headband delivers exactly that. Indigo stripes, tufted detail, effortlessly coastal.

Details

  • Woven cotton stripe in indigo, periwinkle, sky blue and cream
  • Narrow ochre and sage accent stripes
  • Rows of raised cream tufting
  • Made with ethically sourced materials
  • Recyclable
  • Knotted front with a contrast cream inner band

✦ Amy's Styling Tip

This is the one that lives in the beach bag. It looks better slightly rumpled, which is not something I can say about the rest of them.

Hinoki Care Suggestions

Dry clean only. Store flat to keep the tufting standing and the knot in shape.

About the Brand

Namjosh designs from a global aesthetic vision, built on an innovative use of color set against beautiful artisanal embellishment. Pieces are crafted in India by skilled artisans and inspired by the brand's travels across the globe, with hand-beading and hand-worked embroidery running through the collection.

We were drawn to Namjosh because the handwork is impossible to miss — beads placed deliberately, stitches worked with intention. It's exactly the kind of modern, artisanal accessory we love bringing to our Foragers.
