A teal scarf in a folk-art fox and floral print, finished in fringe.

The Hinoki Journal

Folk art, worked into a scarf.

Foxes and birds sit among blooms and scrolling foliage in rust, brick and deep navy across a soft teal ground — the kind of mirrored, symmetrical pattern you'd find on an old painted cabinet or a piece of embroidered folk textile. The teal is what makes it: unusual enough to be worth owning, muted enough to wear with the browns and rusts already in your closet. Wide and long, with fringe at both ends.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

Most winter scarves are plaid or plain. This is neither, and the color does something genuinely different against a camel or brown coat.

Features

  • Folk-art fox and floral print
  • Fringed ends
  • Soft, lightweight handle
  • Generously sized for wrapping

Details

  • Color: Teal
  • Material: 100% polyester
  • Size: 27.5" x 78.7" (70 x 200 cm)

✦ Amy's Styling Tip

The rust in the print is the thread to pull — wear it with brown, camel or a warm red and it looks deliberate rather than accidental. Teal against navy is the one combination I'd avoid.

Hinoki Care Suggestions

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle and reshape while damp. The color may soften with washing and wear.
