Unglazed terracotta on the outside so they keep that raw clay warmth, with a glossy glaze pooled inside — white, grey, soft mint, yellow, pale blue and a deep teal, so no two on the counter look alike. Each holds about an ounce: flaky salt beside the stove, peppercorns, a pinch of chili, the garlic you've just minced. They arrive in a proper printed box, which is what makes this the version to give someone.
