Ripe wild berries and juicy plum over warm vanilla, with a light floral base holding it together — sweet in the way real fruit is sweet, not the way a candle usually is. It's a summer scent that people keep burning through December. Poured by hand in Charleston into an opaque white glass tumbler with a nautical-striped label, with a lead-free cotton wick and a soy-olive wax blend that burns slow and even.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

Soy and olive wax rather than paraffin, a cotton wick rather than a cored one, and a vessel worth keeping once the wax is gone. Of the four scents we carry, this is the crowd-pleaser.

Let the first burn go long enough for the melt pool to reach the edge of the glass — an hour or two. Skip it and the candle will tunnel for the rest of its life.
