It smells like a warm almond cookie, and I don't apologize for that.

Oatmeal and Manuka honey with almond milk over a base of clove, tonka and vanilla — sweet, but with enough spice underneath that it stays comforting rather than cloying. It's the one to light in October when it gets dark at five. Poured by hand in Charleston into an opaque white glass tumbler with a nautical-striped label, with a lead-free cotton wick and a soy-olive wax blend that burns slow and even.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

Soy and olive wax rather than paraffin, a cotton wick rather than a cored one, and a vessel worth keeping once the wax is gone. This is the fall scent people buy two of.
