Playful • Hand-Beaded • Pool Blue
A pale blue headband of printed swimmers with hand-beaded swimsuits.

The Hinoki Journal

Some accessories reward a second look, and this one is exactly that.

The ground is pale pool blue, printed with fine ripple lines so the whole band reads like water seen from directly above. Swimmers cross it mid-stroke — arms extended in front crawl, faces turned for a breath, one on her back. From a distance it is simply a pretty print. Up close, every swimsuit has been picked out by hand in beads: black bugles, small red seed beads, chartreuse sequins, a flash of silver. Metallic thread runs through the weave in horizontal stripes and catches the light the way sun does on a pool. A rust-orange band sits inside.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

We love an accessory with real wit in it, and this headband delivers exactly that. Printed swimmers, hand-beaded suits, effortlessly playful.

Details

  • Pale blue ground printed with swimmers and ripple lines
  • Swimsuits individually hand-beaded in black, red, chartreuse and silver
  • Metallic thread woven through the fabric in fine stripes
  • Knotted center front
  • Contrast rust-orange inner band

✦ Amy's Styling Tip

I wear this one all summer and then keep wearing it, because a pool at eye level is a welcome thing in February too.

Hinoki Care Suggestions

Dry clean only. Store flat to protect the beadwork and the metallic thread.

About the Brand

Namjosh designs from a global aesthetic vision, built on an innovative use of color set against beautiful artisanal embellishment. Pieces are crafted in India by skilled artisans and inspired by the brand's travels across the globe, with hand-beading and hand-worked embroidery running through the collection.

We were drawn to Namjosh because the handwork is impossible to miss — beads placed deliberately, stitches worked with intention. It's exactly the kind of modern, artisanal accessory we love bringing to our Foragers.
