She's pure 1920s — a pointed red cap, a harlequin skirt in red, gold and jade, a black cat tucked under one arm and a grinning jack-o'-lantern lantern swinging from the other hand. A silver star sits over her shoulder. The whole thing is drawn in flat art deco color against a deep violet ground, the kind of palette that turns up on old Halloween postcards and nowhere since. Printed on both sides, so there's no wrong way to set it down.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
Most Halloween decor is either gore or gingham. This is neither — it's genuinely elegant, and the purple is rich enough that it reads as color rather than costume. Handmade in Phoenix with the down insert included.
