Every flower sits framed in its own oval, like a sheet of stamps.

It comes out of the same block-print tradition as our Juniper midi, cut short and belted instead. The finish at the sleeve is a fine detail…a woven multicolour trim with each half sleeve changes with each colourway — the cream reads warm and dusty, the green rust and navy, the pink sharper. A self-fabric sash ties at the waist, the skirt drops into a gathered tier below it, and yes, there are pockets. Cream is the quiet one. Pink is the fun sister!

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

Three colourways, three different woven trims. Most makers would print one tape and use it across the range — the fact that they chose to contrast with each color makes these feel so special.

Tie the sash at the back instead and it becomes a completely different dress — looser through the front is better for a warm day. Try with Boots in autumn, and sandals now and in the spring!
