Minimal • Hand-Carved • Year of the Horse
A hand-carved basswood horse figurine to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
The Hinoki Journal
Some small objects carry a quiet wish for the year ahead, and this horse is exactly that.
2026 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac, a year associated with energy, independence, and forward momentum. Long a symbol of success, this horse is individually hand-carved from solid basswood with a modern, minimalist feel that highlights the wood's natural grain, making it a meaningful way to mark the year.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
We love a figurine with clean lines and a bit of meaning behind it, and this horse delivers exactly that. Solid basswood, a minimalist shape, and a timely nod to the zodiac.
Features
- Individually hand-carved from 100% basswood
- Modern, minimalist design
- A keepsake for the Year of the Horse
✦ Amy's Styling Tip
This is my go-to gift for anyone born in a Year of the Horse, or anyone starting a new job or business this year. It looks just as good on a desk as it does on a mantel.
Hinoki Care Suggestions
Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth, and keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.
About the Maker
svn futures creates hand-carved and hand-painted basswood figurines, each one an individually crafted, one-of-a-kind piece.
We were drawn to svn futures because their pieces carry real handmade character. It's exactly the kind of playful, thoughtful decor we love bringing to our Foragers.
