Two-Ring Closure • One Size • Handmade in Argentina
A black leather belt that fastens through two brass rings.
The Hinoki Journal
No holes, no prong, no wrong notch.
The strap threads through two brass rings and holds by tension — the same principle as a scarf knot, and the reason this belt sits exactly where you want it rather than a half-inch off. It also means nothing to punch, nothing to stretch out, and no worn hole giving away how the fit has changed. Black leather, an inch and a half wide, with the rings sitting slightly proud at the front as the only detail.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
The most useful belt shape there is. Low on the hips over a tunic, at the natural waist over a knit, or through trouser loops — it adjusts to all three without you thinking about it.
Features
- Two-ring closure, no holes or prong
- Wears at the waist or low on the hips
- Brass-tone hardware
- Handmade by artisans in Argentina
Details
- Color: Black
- Material: Genuine leather
- Total length: 46" / 117 cm including the rings
- Width: 1.5" / 3 cm
- One size — fits jean sizes 8–16
✦ Amy's Styling Tip
Thread it, pull it snug, then let the tail hang rather than tucking it — the loose end is what makes it look casual instead of formal. Over an untucked shirt at the hip is the easiest version.
Hinoki Care Suggestions
Wipe clean with a dry cloth and condition occasionally. Polish the rings with a soft cloth.
About the Maker
ADA Collection makes leather belts by hand in Argentina, using vegetable-tanned, chromium-free hides.
We were drawn to ADA because a well-made belt outlasts almost everything else in a wardrobe. It's exactly the kind of quiet, made-to-last piece we love bringing to our Foragers.
