Striped • Handmade • Quietly Classic
A navy and cream ticking stripe pillow, made by hand in America.

The Hinoki Journal

The stripe that goes with everything.

Deep navy against a warm cream, in an even ticking stripe that has been turning up on mattresses, awnings and deck chairs for a century and never once looked wrong. At twelve inches it's the small one — the pillow you tuck in front of the larger ones, or set on a reading chair where a full-size cushion would swallow the seat. Woven cotton-poly, sturdy rather than delicate, with a concealed zipper and reinforced ends so it survives being taken on and off.

Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki

Handmade in America, double-sided, and finished properly — over-sewn edges, reinforced zipper, and the down insert included rather than sold separately. Most decorative pillows at this size are glued together overseas.

Features

  • Double-sided
  • Concealed zipper with reinforced ends
  • Over-sewn edges
  • Down insert included
  • Handmade in America

Details

  • Color: Navy and cream stripe
  • Size: 12" x 12"
  • Fabric: Woven cotton-polyester blend
  • Includes cover and down insert

✦ Amy's Styling Tip

Small pillows work hardest in front of bigger ones — I'd layer this against a solid linen in oatmeal or a deeper texture, and let the stripe be the only pattern in the group.

Hinoki Care Suggestions

Remove the insert before cleaning. Spot clean or hand wash the cover, do not bleach. Lay flat or hang to dry. Touch up with a warm iron over a damp press cloth if needed.
