Hinoki Island blends delicate cherry blossom with soothing hinoki wood, the pale Japanese cypress our shop is named for, all resting on a base of earthy bergamot. It's grounding but surprisingly light, like walking through a Japanese garden in early spring. Hand poured in Los Angeles from a soy and coconut wax blend with a 100% cotton wick, it burns clean and slow for 70+ hours.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
The name made it impossible not to carry, and the giving is why we're proud to. BOTANICA donates $1 from every Signature Candle to Peace Winds, a vetted nonprofit working in the regions that inspire their fragrances, and has given more than $250,000 to partner causes since 2019.

Hinoki Care Suggestions
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge to prevent tunneling. Trim the wick to 1/4" before each light, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
