Hand Stamped Brass • Lightweight • Three Inches of Statement
Large brass stars, stamped all over with a smaller star pattern.
The Hinoki Journal
Stars inside a star.
Each point is struck over and over with a small star punch and the impressions filled with black enamel, so the whole surface reads as texture from across a room and resolves into a pattern up close. Cut in brass and hung from gold stainless earwires — three inches end to end, which is properly big, and barely any weight to it. Because every mark is placed by hand, the two stars in a pair are never quite identical.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
Statement earrings are usually heavy enough that you take them off by dinner. These aren't, and the hand stamping gives them a warmth that a cast or printed version couldn't manage.

✦ Amy's Styling Tip
Hair up, nothing at the neck — anything else competes. They're big enough to be the only decision you make about an outfit.
Hinoki Care Suggestions
Keep dry and store in a bag or box somewhere dark and cool. If the black fades, refresh it with an acrylic or permanent black marker and wipe off the excess. Brass will patina over time; a polishing cloth brings it back.
About the Maker
Tiny Seven Studio hand stamps and casts small metal pieces — jewelry, cuffs and tokens — striking each letter and design individually with traditional tools.
We were drawn to Tiny Seven because nothing they make can be made twice. It's exactly the kind of handmade, one-of-a-kind object we love bringing to our Foragers.
