Suede • Adjustable • Handmade in Argentina
A soft suede wrap belt in taupe, one size, tied however you like.
The Hinoki Journal
One belt, a dozen ways to wear it.
There's no buckle and no holes — just eight feet of soft suede you wrap and knot wherever it suits the outfit. Low on the hips over a dress, high at the natural waist over a knit, doubled and tied at the front, or knotted off-center and left to hang. The suede has a waxed finish that takes on a lived-in patina with wear, so it looks better in a year than it does out of the box. Vegetable-tanned Argentinian leather, made by hand.
Why It Found Its Way to Hinoki
The wrap belt is the one accessory we recommend most often, because it fits everyone and fixes almost any silhouette. In suede it's softer and warmer than the smooth leather versions — the one for autumn.
Features
- Wrap silhouette, ties multiple ways
- No buckle or holes — fully adjustable
- Waxed suede finish that develops character
- Vegetable-tanned, chromium-free
- Handmade by artisans in Argentina
Details
- Color: Taupe
- Material: Genuine Argentinian suede
- Length: 99" / 251 cm
- Width: 3" / 7.5 cm
- One size — fits jean sizes 0–22
✦ Amy's Styling Tip
Start high over a knit and cinch it hard — that's the version that changes an outfit most. If you're shorter through the waist, wrap twice before knotting so the tails don't overwhelm you.
Hinoki Care Suggestions
Brush gently with a suede brush and keep it dry. Marks are part of how suede ages, so let it wear in.
About the Maker
ADA Collection makes leather belts by hand in Argentina, using vegetable-tanned, chromium-free hides.
We were drawn to ADA because a well-made belt outlasts almost everything else in a wardrobe. It's exactly the kind of quiet, made-to-last piece we love bringing to our Foragers.
